I began as an electrical engineer, trained at Georgia Tech. Later I completed a PhD at the University of Virginia, focusing on historical Christian theology.

I sail as often as I can, and I’ve built a small boat. I game in my spare time because virtual worlds fascinate me. I am an open source enthusiast who dabbles in mapping and astronomy.

I cohost the Orthodocs.faith podcast. Check out what John Harman and I are doing there.

Otherwise, I have a hard time saying where professional interests end and hobbies begin. The world of software development for technical users is currently the focus of my professional life.
